Jessica Hische

Jessica Hische is a typographer who specifically works with letterpress
mostly but broadly a letterer . Hische is well known for her work with
Wes Anderson and penguin books. Her work is beautifully flourished
and decadent. Her work is very similar to hand-written type of an older
era - when signs where originally hand painted rather than printed digitally.

David Smith

Smith is a traditional ornate glass sign writer he traditionally uses
gold leaf to produce his classic signs, his designs are similar to of
the era of hand decorative signs. His designs are decadent and elegant
showing luxury and trust to new brands and old etc. Smith recently
worked on a limited addition bottle for Jameson Whisky using his
gold leafing and lettering techniques, the bottle is an old past in a
present time.
