Does the information add to the book or take away from the images?
Response:
Most of the group said they felt the information was not needed but
could be placed in the back as index rather then used on strips of tracing
paper as they felt there was no real need for it as it took away from the
images making the book less effective and not giving the reader the choice
wether or not they wanted to read it.
My Response:
To improve this I am going to get rid of the tracing paper idea completely
I have now added a small index to the back of the book which then
gives the reader the option or not to find out more about the book this gives
the book much more freedom and can then be applied to more than just one
audience as students often don't want to read but others might. By adding
the index to my book it has improved the layout dramatically and saves
having loose necessary slips of trace hanging around. I am glad that everyone
was honest about my design as a result it has improved my outcome and has
allowed me to understand the audiences approach.
