OUGD505 Brief 1 - How are coins made?

This video briefly explains how coins are made, the design can be as detailed as wanted as the coin is initally carved almost 100x bigger than the actual coin, it is then scanned by a very clever machine! which copies and reduces the size until finally coin size - the cast is then used in a vice setting applying the design into the metal.
