tomorrows screen printing session. Although I will need to consider
messing around with different stocks and colours to get the desired look
as I would like to screen print on grey this is a complimentary colour to
yellow green and blue this could work out good or bad when printing
so I will experiment with stock to see the results.
From my book jacket It was pointed out that the publisher was rather
large and misplaced on the back cover, and I could move this to the spine
to look cleaner, I also noticed from making a mock up for my book that
the text on the back is too high up and needs to be moved down
on the page, the text on the front is also to close to the spine, without
doing this mock up I wouldn't of noticed what was wrong with my
design this has been really beneficial to see, to improve my design.
I also need to add some flaps for the cover to wrap around, I am thinking
of including the publishers and ISBN numbers and possibly the
price of the book itself. I want to keep the design clean and simple.
Less is more.
