To start at this brief as required I drew 30 thumbnails,
I have listened to every song and drawn the most obvious images
that I feel coming from the songs.
Without putting too much thought into my initial sketches I used
a variety of lyrics and music videos as inspiration. Although some
of my sketches are obvious for example 'The chemical brothers'
lyrics "how does it feel like?' the typography is a direct depiction of the
song. My sketches for St Vincent are also quite recognisable especially
if you have watched the music video as she has iconic hair and dress
sense the lyrics also mention certain objects which are repeated
constantly through out.
The brief is to design 5 album covers for the secret 7 competition
although not specifying it having to be the same song I feel keeping
to one song will make it consistent and possibly create a set, I've chosen
out of the 7 songs to design for "The Chemical Brothers" This purely
being because out of the 7 it is my favourite song alongside that
I feel confident coming up with several design outcomes.

concept for each sketch.)
