OUGD504 Brief 2 - Requirements

To start this brief I have created some guides and requirements
for the logo, normally this would be specified by the client but
as the client is unlikely to respond to me within the next day I
would struggle to complete the task.

Colour: Specifically there is no colour restrictions other than to keep 

it simple and complimentary so the design is fluent and consistent it 

should have a maximum of 3 colours. I believe the taget audience is 

women this being because women tend to wear jewellry more than 

men, although this could easily be a unisex product.

Typeface: As the current design has used a sans serif typeface I would 

like to keep this the same as it is confident, clear and easy on the eye. 

Do not constrict to the same typeface by trying out a variation of sans 

serifs.

Communicate: The target audience from my opinion is women but not 

restricted to women as it can be unisex, because of this I want to direct 

my product towards women. 

The age range arguably is unlimited as it is such a useful idea/product, at 

young age girls begin to own and wear jewellery I would say the product 

would be aimed from at least 13 upwards.

The design needs to communicate the product Some words which the 

design should and could represent;

Lock
Lion
Safety
Protection
Latch
Simple
Safe
Not complicated
Easy to use
