The internet is a good thing for the older generation it keeps them
connected with loved ones, it would be good if there were more
awareness campaigns for the elderly to learn how to use the
internet and get involved.

"Edward George, 93, from East Sussex, who started using the
internet 11 years ago, said: “Before my daughter convinced me
to use her laptop I didn’t know a great deal about the internet,
but now I can’t imagine my life without it. Leaving the house has
become more difficult and so the internet has been a lifeline,
allowing me to easily keep in contact with family."

Using the internet would benefit the elderly and help people feel
less lonely

"In an increasingly isolated and fast-moving world it is vital that
everyone in society is able to use the internet and understand
its benefits,"

My dad is 83 years old. I'm teaching him how to use the internet.
I told him twitter was how to search things on Google.
These tweets are what he's searching.

A normal person has experimented with what his father would search
into google if he has been given the right information here are some
of the tweets.
