Banana peels have been a staple of humour
and comedy for 100’s of years the reason
they came about to be humorous was
because in the 19th century slipping on banana
peels was a great hazard to the public when
the bananas start to decay they become slimy
and almost slippery so standing on one of
these bad boys is going to send you flying
with some possible broken bones, but it is
almost comedic imagining someone slipping
on something so un-harmful so again from my
primary research I guess it refers to laughing at
other peoples miss fortunes, a great comedy to
watch that shows this is my favourite comedians
“Laurel and Hardy”.
