OUGD505 Brief 2 - Task 4, Final results

The political part I chose to do was labour, because we all had the layout set out the design was left up to us, as these are only mocks of how we could present and create a solution for young voters not engaging, our designs are intended to work both as a set of informational guides and posters.

We feel that our jargon buster guides will eradicate confusion between parties, although we have only done 3 if progressed further we would expand for each known political party, which would make it un biased and easy for young people to understand the partys manifesto - we believe this is the main reason young people don't vote because the partys aren't clear.

My personal design treatment is based on labour's current campaign, to design for this guide I used the labour party's website and manifesto. http://www.labour.org.uk/manifesto/all
http://www.labour.org.uk using all the information I found I layed out the text in a modern and clear way so that it is straight to the point and easy to understand. This study task helped me utilise the skills we had learnt in study task 2 but to expand on this by applying design.
