The design of my poster was inspired by my publication research, one of the publications had used trace paper for the cover of the magazine - this gave me the idea to create an interactive poster with a myth on the front and the reality in the back, by making the poster interactive it means students are more likely to engage when layers are together both texts are readable but it becomes clearer when lifted directly correlating with my campaign name 'lets be clear'. The green really stands out in this poster, this is important - I wanted to make the design pop and grab attention.
I have done a total of 3 posters, although I have only done 3 there is possibility to expand the poster campaign as there are many other facts and myths that could be discussed.
These facts and myths are intended to aggravate the reader wanting to confirm what they first read is wrong. In some cases this will also make people who were thinking of committing this crime aware that sexual assault is no myth and it is not ok.
