Tessellation
or more geometric shapes, called tiles, with no overlaps and
no gaps. In mathematics, tessellations can be generalized to
higher dimensions. A periodic tiling has a repeat pattern."
M.C.Escher Tessellation -
Escher has a combination of tessellation and illusion in his pieces
this in particular the use of tone draws you into the centre drawing
you in it becomes a clearer print and appears to have lizards of
some sort in the sight.
Development 1
Monument Valley
This game is influenced by M C Eschers tessellation and impossible
illusion It is a modern day piece of design, For further research I have
purchased the game I have noticed when playing when turning the
buildings on screen they impossibly join it is a very clever game and is
well designed.
