Photoshop Tutorial - Photoshop Manipulation
Applying different images to another and keeping a similar tone,
I have used the movie poster looper to replace both characters with
Chewbacca and Toothless, I have used the pent tool to select the part of
the image I wanted to copy I then pasted this onto the desired spot, to
remove hard edges I used the eraser tool with a feathered brush - I have
also edited type by removing the original type with the healing tool and
replaced my new type with a similar typeface to the movie header.
Once I had finished playing
with the Looper poster I moved
onto use the skills I had learnt to
create my own movie posters for
the movie The Imitation Game
"Based on the real life story of
legendary cryptanalyst Alan Turing,
the film portrays the nail-biting
race against time by Turing and his
brilliant team of code-breakers at
Britain's top-secret Government
Code and Cypher School at Bletchley
Park, during the darkest days of
World War II."
I have layered photographs and
changed opacities I also messed
around with tone/hue and saturation.
I have used the typeface 'Montserrat'
a clean, crisp font to write the title and
actors etc.. I hope to learn more skills
in photoshop next lesson.
