At this stage I was well on the way with my design and interface.
For the crit I showed and explained my designs/wireframes and ideas.
I created my designs digitally as it made sense being it for a website,
I also experimented with using a website builder called just in mind
this allowed me to add interactions to my website, although non functioning
it gave a broad idea on how my websites structure would work visually
rather than flat onto paper.
My questions?
Does my idea engage with my target audience? both
supporters and non supporters of mumford and sons?
It is really hard to target such a broad age range/audience, but by keeping
the design and interface simple it would be easy for most age groups to use
both young and old. The design at this point is very modern which demonstrates
the changes between sounds of mumford and sons I think you need to add
elements that personalise the band so it feels less clinical this could be as
simple as adding hand rendered type the only issue with this is that it would
only be usable as images because of type restrictions on the web this is
something you should consider.
Is my concept clear? - Reveal, a change
Yes the puzzle idea is different and very interactive with the audience, although
I like your idea you should pick one point of navigation as at the moment
there are 2 by having one point of navigation it will make it easier for the
consumer to use e.g. either left and right OR up and down not both.
Does my typeface and minimalist design work?
The typeface is really bold and simple this aesthetic really represents the
current bands appearance although have you checked to see if this is a
internet font? Can you use it on the internet?
Is there anything I can do to improve my design/user ability?

Your sign up page is clever and will encourage people to unlock your content
I suggest to incorporate social media for ease you then would have the option to sign
up via Facebook.. etc like other sites with a similar sign up have this makes
the audience more likely to sign up because it entails less effort.
Have you considered designing for another screen size like a phone application?
My response - There are many things that Only have helped give both
constructive and positive I plan to focus on key areas which I feel are
most important:
- Typeface both personality and usability online
- The way in which my site navigates
- Facebook sign in
- And designing for another type of screen
